Some more music!

On Friday, May 16, Sam Morris came over and we recorded some hot licks. Several hours’ worth, in fact! I’ve just finished editing out all possible imperfections (sarcasm) in the improv’s, so here they are!
Tracks:
- Procrastination Policy
The title is a reference to my English teacher’s late work policy… - Random Access Sunroof
A Drum N Bass jam. I like how the high, echo-ey effects turned out. - CMC
See if you can guess the acronym. Old School rap. John F. Kennedy did the vocals. - Play that Beat, Mallow Man
This one makes me feel happy. No idea how Sam came up with this title! The looping was a little more ambitious in this track. - Prozac
A dark ambient piece. See “Ambient” from the Running With Scizzors album. - Daisy Frolic
Deep House Techno mixed with Bluegrass. Bluehouse? Deepgrass? - Stay in School
Freely improvised 80′s arena rock.
Lineup:
- Sam Morris: Electric Guitar
- Andrew Jensen: Electronics
We can’t just tell you the group’s name. My dad thinks it’s inflammatory (and he threatened to remove this blog altogether), so I won’t publish it here.
Nice work guys! Daisy Frolic was pretty fun, and we liked Sunroof, but I think Procrastination was my favorite. It’s something I can relate to!

Hey, thanks for listening!
A bit of trivia: “Procrastination Policy” was named after a late-work policy my English teacher established the fourth term this year (to “step it up”). She warned us all that “there would not be extra credit opportunities” this term. Then, she set up this policy:
At first, my friends and I joked that we obviously had “extra credit opportunities” this term. However, the extra credit turned out to be a good 2 or 3 points per assignment (we get over a hundred for participation). So we used the policy to procrastinate, hence the name.

Ah yes! Anyone who took AP US should know what “CMC” stands for, especially after hearing the vocals. Nice job!
